Cheryl believes that assisting clients offers a huge sense of accomplishment. She knows first-hand that owning a home can be a life changing step, and offers a new sense of security for families. She takes pride in getting know clients from the initial consultation, until long after the closing transaction. When she was a single mother of two, she never imagined owning my own home. After years of renting, she was introduced to a REALTOR that walked her through the homebuying process. She knew the benefits of owning versus renting, but was unsure of the steps to take to move her family forward. Forty days later, she was in her first home, feeling as though she was in a dream. She admired that agent and hoped someday she could help others realize their goals of home ownership too. Years later she had the opportunity to change careers and knew she wanted to obtain her real estate license. She now has 15+ years of experience, helping first time homebuyers, clients looking for investment properties, or those transitioning to new stages of life.
Keeping a finger on the pulse of real estate in our area, she makes sure to keep past and current clients up-to-date on any changes in the industry. She is proud to count her clients as friends.
She believes strongly in keeping herself educated and is certified as a TREC approved Real Estate Instructor. She continues to educate herself and holds the GRI, MRP, SFR, TAHS and SRES designations. She is a graduate of the Texas REALTOR Leadership Program(TRLP) and currently serves as the President of the Austin Association of Real Estate Brokers.
Cheryl supports all HBCU’s as a proud alumni of Grambling State University. She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially star gazing and observing the night sky. She is a foodie and loves trying new restaurants, but always faithful to Salt Traders, with the best shrimp and grits in Texas.
