Thanksgiving is full of love, chaos, and delicious food… aaaand every year we still forget the same things. So here’s your friendly “don’t panic” list before someone yells, “Who forgot the whipped cream?!” 😆
🦃 Thanksgiving’s Most Forgotten Items
• Ice (someone always has to run out)
• Butter (one stick? try five.)
• Aluminum foil (leftovers need love too)
• Paper towels (they vanish fast)
• Batteries (everything dies at once)
• To-go containers (protect your good Tupperware!)
• Trash bags (big meal = big mess)
• Cranberry sauce (the classic forgotten item)
• Whipped cream (pumpkin pie deserves better)
• Spices (sage + cinnamon = holiday magic)
• Drinks (you think you have enough…)
• Coffee filters/pods (next morning survival)
• Serving utensils (pie server always MIA)
• Salad dressing (mysteriously missing)
• Bread or rolls (always an afterthought)
• Ziplock bags (leftovers + turkey bones)
• Turkey baster (yes, people forget it!)
No matter what you forget, the real magic is the people at the table…
but remembering the whipped cream definitely helps 😉
A little foresight goes a long way in making your holiday meal both memorable and stress-free.
Happy Thanksgiving from Michele Lafortune and the team at Realty Texas!
